Our Smallgoods

Country Style Smallgoods is located in Bald Hills Victoria just 14 klm from Ballarat City and 107 klm west of Melbourne.

Respect for our livestock is important, our pigs are from Tarna Valley Farm in Cape Clear, Victoria. They’re free to roam the paddocks and sleep on straw lined beds, cage free, living a stress free life.

Country Style Smallgoods started in 2013 when Sebastian Jurcan saw the potential for his quality artisanal smallgoods to be produced locally in the Ballarat region. His smallgoods have been in demand ever since.

Making smallgoods is a Jurcan family tradition. Sebastian's parents are originally from Istra, a peninsula off the Northern Coast of Croatia. The southern European lifestyle is renowned for quality cured meats, using processes from previous generations dating back hundreds of years. Sebastian's meat producing skills were acquired whilst a boy residing with his family in Musk, southeast of Daylesford making a variety of salamis, proscuitto, pancetta and cappocollo was a daily activity.
